This one-hour walking tour will identify several of Colonial Williamsburg's most asked-about trees. Guides will stop at several trees to discuss identifying characteristics and ways our various tradespeople use the tree's wood. Discover how the Tidewater forest has evolved and how the Historic Area's urban forest is managed today. As a certified Arboretum, we promote biodiversity and the use of native trees. Join us to learn why.
Plan to meet the tour guide across from the Compton Oak on Nicholson Street.
Weather permitting. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please plan to arrive early as space is limited for this program.
